The British sense of humor...

Posted in United Kingdom forum

...is it really that weird like everyone says??
I've been to the UK for a few months, and I have to admit that the "funny" TV-series didn't make me laugh at all.
I think it's indeed true that the British got another sense of humor...but maybe every culture has that, even though not that clear-cut.
What do you think?

Hey hey, Dutch humor?! Uhm, let me think....It depends where you coming from in Holland, I guess. But people from the west have the best humor, in my view. Bit of sarcasm, very dry.

Tell me a bit more about the Swedish humor, please, because I have NO idea what that's like!

Yeah you're right, there's quite a difference between it (at least that's my opinion). But funny to see how different the opinions about humors can be!
What's the Dutch humor like? ;)

How can you not find their humor funny!! I think it's the best humor in the world. Quite sarcastic but that's what I like.
While I lived in UK I use to watch Jonathan Ross on friday night, that guy really makes me wet my pants..I find their humor so real, not pre meditated. Same as most prgrammes, so realistic and no woman with make up stepping into bed, like in American series/films.

I don't know anything about the Swedish humor but there must be a world of difference with the British...
